16.2.4. Discrepancy Follow-up

There are two methods for ED discrepancy follow-up:

Record follow-up on the worklist.
Record follow-up on the study viewer.

To follow-up on an ED discrepancy from the worklist, see the instructions below:

Right-click on the study with discrepancies (indicated by any of these icons or )
A drop-down menu will appear, click on ‘Discrepancy’ and then ‘ED discrepancy follow-up’.
A new window will appear. Select the actions that were made for follow-up. Write appropriate comments and click on submit when you are done.
You wil receive this warning sign if you try to record a follow-up action for a study with no discrepancies.

5. The study icon in the Discrepancy column will be updated once an ED follow-up action has been recorded.

Main Toolbox

Click on the main toolbox from the bottom left corner.

Reviewing Study

Select 'Reviewing Study' from the drop-down menu.

Discrepancies

Select 'Discrepancies' from the menn.

ED Follow-up

Click on 'ED Follow-up' to record follow-up actions for the patient.

Select the appropriate follow-up actions, leave a comment, and click on 'Submit' when you are done.
