Indications for use
The PaxeraHealth PACS is a scalable medical image and information system intended to receive, trans- mit, retrieve, display, print and process digital images from any medical image modality supporting the ACR/NEMA, DICOM 3.0 standard, including but not limited to Magnetic Resonance (MR), Com- puted Tomography (CT) Computed Radiography (CR), Digital X-Ray (DR/DX), Digital Mammography (MG), X-Ray Angiography (XA), Ultrasound (US), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Pathology (SM), and Positron Emission Tomography (PT).
The PaxeraHealth PACS workstation provides the user with the ability to display, manipulate, attach diagnostic reports and archive, and print images using DICOM and other computer industry standard interfaces and standards.
Mammography images intended for primary interpretation must be acquired for an FDA approved Full Field Digital Mammography (FDDM) device. In addition, the FDDM device must be able to provide the PaxeraHealth PACS “for presentation” a viewable DICOM image as approved by FDA for primary interpretation. If images are sent to a film printer, such printers must be FDA approved for diagnosis of digital mammography images. If digital mammography images are viewed on a display - that display must be cleared by the FDA for primary diagnosis of digital mammography images.
The PaxeraHealth PACS allows for integration with many open interfaces including DICOM, Web Client, and Archiving devices. The PaxeraHealth PACS server infrastructure software facilitate database man- agement and image management, printing, HL-7 interfacing and all DICOM services such as Store/ Retrieve, Query and Send.
The PaxeraHealth PACS is intend for use by trained medical professionals including but not limited to, Radiologists, Physicians and Medical Technologists. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure quality by taking measures to achieve the proper ambient lighting conditions and image compression ratios con- sistent with the clinical requirements of the indented use.
There are a number of software and hardware requirements necessary for the PaxeraUltima application to run suitably and are listed below along with some system requirements.
System Requirements

• 6th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-6500 (Quad Core 3.2GHz, 3.6Ghz Turbo, 6MB, w/ HD Graphics 530).
• Minimum of 8GB RAM
• Network connection with minimum speed of 1000 MB/s
• Minimum 100GB free on the C drive and 5GB hard disk space for application
• Additional 50GB hard disk space or more depending on the volume of the data to be used temporarily
• Graphics card, minimum resolution of 1024x768, 24 bit color or minimum 8 bit gray output, any nVidia, ATI or Matrox graphics card.
• For the diagnostic purpose, we recommend using Graphic card supporting resolution of 1280x768 with multi monitor support (2 MP for CT/MR , 5 MP for interpreting Mammography studies)
Software Requirements
The following packages are required for the installation of the software packages:
• Windows installer 4.5 or higher
• Microsoft .NET framework 3.5
• Internet Information Services “IIS”
• SQL Express or Standard, or Enterprise
• Web Browser including Internet explorer Ver. 9 or higher versions, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari.
